Our company was established in 1983 as Ealing Travel Services. We became Harridge in 2013 to mark 30 years at the forefront of a competitive industry and to signify our ambitions for the future.

Darryll Beck Harridge

Managing Director

Darryll Beck Harridge has worked his way up from cleaner at Heathrow airport to Managing Director of his own successful travel company.

He got the travel bug at Heathrow’s Pan Am warehouse in 1974, watching Concorde take off just 100 yards away. Two years later, he became a courier for a travel company, excitedly collecting tickets from BA, AF, KL, SR, MH, SQ, and all the other major airlines.

But when he found himself waiting around a lot between pick-ups and drop-offs, he asked if he could help out answering the phone. A few months later, and Beck was taking bookings, appointed Reservations Clerk by his impressed manager. Two years later: Assistant Manager. 'You’re not bad at this game!' Beck recalls telling himself. 'Why not have a go at setting up your own company?'

Thirty five years later, and he is still proud of Harridge, founded on the principles of integrity, service, expertise, and accountability, with trusting clients who actively recommend it to others.

Madhurie Harridge

Finance Director

Madhurie worked for NatWest in the City of London from 1970 until 1988, when she took a career break to raise her two children.

Her banking experience is a vital asset to Harridge Group, where she has spent an enjoyable 23 years.

She loves being with her children, cooking, going to the gym, running, eating out, going to the theatre, her Zumba class, and yoga.

Jon Lia

Senior Corporate Consultant

Jon started his travel career as a messenger in the 70s for a West End company and has worked his way up the industry, arranging travel for government ministers and for many big music stars along the way.

A Senior Consultant at Harridge, his main responsibility is looking after the travel arrangements for big insurance companies in the City of London. He’s been with us for 21 years, blaming 'the great team' for the length of his stay.

Originally from Valencia, he speaks fluent Spanish and likes spending time with family both here and aboard, and watching FC Barcelona play.

David J. Blackledge

Senior Corporate Consultant

David has been working in the travel industry for over 35 years.

He recalls, as a schoolboy, going to work with his dad, an air traffic control engineer at Manchester airport, watching the old flapper display departures boards as the letters clattered around to make new words; so many places he’d never heard of. He’d head home, bury his head in an atlas, and from there his love of geography and travel grew. He’s convinced that if he’d kept a record of the many strange enquiries he'd received it would be a best seller.

David lives in Isleworth, Middlesex with his partner of 15 years. He loves travelling (of course), walking, photography, food and wine, and one of his highlights was being part of an 80,000-strong choir at the London 2012 Paralympics singing the National Anthem as a team GB Paralympian was presented with a gold medal.

Charlotte Williams

Senior Corporate Consultant

Charlotte took several travel courses at college, where she first became interested in the industry. She began selling holidays part time at Thomas Cook, while studying Galileo in preparation for a move to business travel.

Since starting with Harridge 13 years ago, she has worked her way up from Rail Consultant to The Management Team.

She loves her job because no two days are the same, because she enjoys working out complex itineraries and difficult fares, and challenging herself to get cheaper fares than the Internet!

A self-confessed chatterbox, she loves socialising in her spare time.

Sarah

Senior Corporate Consultant

Having lived in Germany, Spain, Belgium and the UK, Sarah is truly international. She holds a degree in Translation and has had a great interest in other languages and cultures ever since she was young.

Since moving to London she's worked with Air France as well a number of travel agents, gaining valuable experience with GDS systems. At Harridge she applies these skills to provide our clients with an exceptional service.

In her free time Sarah loves to attend comedy events, hiking, and relaxing by practising yoga. She adores traveling and is determined to improve her culinary skills, although freely admits that eating out is much more fun!

Simon Clancy

Senior Corporate Consultant

Simon joined Harridge in January 2011, with no previous travel experience, but with a strong determination to find a job and career in something that really interested him.

He’s come far in a very short time. Trained at Harridge, he learnt quickly, and was soon entrusted with his own client portfolio and is now a member of The Management Team.

When he’s not arranging corporate travel, Simon can often be found playing guitar in a rock band, in numerous sparsely filled North London venues, or daydreaming about when Arsenal used to win things.

Teresa Rowe

Corporate Consultant

Teresa has been working in Business Travel for 25 years, with some time off for being a full time mum. She worked in London, Edinburgh, Surrey and Berkshire before relocating to Edinburgh in 2005, due to her husband’s many military postings. Teresa is the proud mum of two gifted boys.

She joined Harridge Group in April 2018 and has been working remotely from home. She loves the fact that no two travel enquiries are the same and enjoys a challenge of a complicated itinerary.

Graham Finch Parsons

Corporate Consultant

Graham has been working within the business travel sector for the past 10 years. His previous roles include running freight operations at Gatwick Airport, working on a cruise ship, and being a HGV driver. Graham lived in Australia for 8 years and to date has visited over 60 countries.

He is passionate about sports, enjoys keeping fit and is a keen cyclist and runner; he completed the London Marathon and the Great North Run. Graham is a true animal and nature lover and loves nothing more than spending time outdoors.

Gourav Khatabia

Corporate Consultant

Gourav has 11 years’ experience in travel; he worked for a large TMC in India for 6 years before moving to London in 2016 and pursuing a career in travel in the UK. He joined Harridge Group as Corporate Consultant in April 2018; Gourav not only provides service to clients via email and phone, he also sets up Harridge Group’s online booking system for clients.

In his spare time Gourav enjoys cricket and watching movies.

Nikkie Poole

Corporate Consultant

Nikkie started her travel career on a youth training scheme at the age of 17. Over the last 30 years, she has gained extensive knowledge in all aspects of leisure, events and business travel. Working her way up through the business travel industry, Nikkie has the honour to say she has managed travel for the same leading fashion company travel account for the last 25 years.

Nikkie has a real passion for travel, is a dedicated team member with excellent attention to detail, planning and exceptional organisational skills. She is determined to do her best at all times and is satisfied by a job well done.

When not booking travel, Nikkie loves to experience destinations first hand with her family to build her own extensive personal knowledge.

Paresh Jansari

Corporate Consultant

Paresh has 11 years’ experience in the travel industry. He worked as a Reservation and Ticketing Supervisor for Iraqi Airways (IKB Travel & Tours ltd which is GSA for Iraqi Airways), where he gained valuable experience with GDS systems. Paresh has also worked with large Luxury tour operators and gained extensive knowledge in all aspects of leisure and business travel.

Paresh’s interests are listening to music, learning new technology, playing cricket and travelling. In his spare time, he loves to spend time with his family, friends and watching movies.

Jaya Broughton

Apprentice Corporate Consultant

Jaya started Harridge as an Apprentice in Business administration in 2018. She joined the working world at 16 after completing her GCSE’s at High school. Starting with no previous travel experience Jaya has learnt a lot in her time with Harridge and currently works on the River Island account. She is looking forward to developing her knowledge and skills with the company.

In her spare time, she enjoys socialising with friends and keeping busy. She is always listening to music and you’ll likely find her at a concert.

Mumtaz Kharas

Accounts Manager

Mumtaz is AAT qualified and has over 20 years’ experience in all aspects of finance. She joined Harridge in 2013 as a Senior Accountancy Assistant.

Mumtaz devotes her spare time to fundraising charity work for her local community and enjoys spending time with her large family. In her (limited!) spare time after that, she likes to read and walk.

Lisa Moriarty

Senior Accounts Assistant

A hard and helpful worker, Lisa has a GNVQ in Leisure and Tourism and has worked in the accounts department for nearly 19 years.

She loves listening to music (apart from classical), loves watching rugby (and supporting Ireland), enjoys the Six Nations Championship (especially when Ireland are playing), enjoys a good walk (especially if the weather is good), and reading (in her spare time).

Aye Aye Naing

Accounts Assistant

Aye has joined Harridge Group’s Accounts Team mid-2018. She is ACCA part qualified and has got B.A (Hons) in Applied Accounting.

She is originally from Myanmar (Burma). In her spare time, Aye volunteers at local monastery, where she is helping raise funds, carrying out general duties as well as preparing meals for monks as her passions are cooking and baking.

Prina Desai

Accounts Assistant

Prina holds BA Hons in Accounting and Finance and is ACCA part qualified. She enjoys applying her skills within Harridge as learning new destinations and places our client’s visit keeps her interests alive.

Her aspiration is to travel the world. Due to her family roots Prina speaks fluent Gujarati and understands Hindi. In her spare time Prina likes socialising with friends and watching Bollywood movies.

Alieena Reel

Accounts Assistant

When Alieena started in 2014 at Harridge Group she was studying for her AAT accounting qualification with BPP University as an apprentice. In 2019, after all her hard work and determination she is now AAT qualified with 5 years’ experience in accounting and has gained her M.A.A.T status.

Out of the office, music and dance are her passion, so you'll find her busting her moves on the dance floor. Once she's completed her studies Alieena is looking forward to travelling the world – starting with New York, of course.

Poppy Newell

Apprentice Office Administrator

When Poppy came out of High School, she first went into Hairdressing at college and completed her qualification. After deciding that this wasn’t the future for her, she joined Harridge Group as a Business Administration Apprentice in June 2019. Poppy is looking forward to furthering her development and progressing within the company.

In her spare time, she loves listening to music and going to concerts. An avid thrill seeker, Poppy also loves going on any sort of rollercoaster. She loves socialising with her friends and family often with a cocktail in hand.

Jonathan Harridge

Director

After law school, and a brief stint at a commercial law firm in Canary Wharf, Jonathan joined the family business in 2006. The move from commercial law to corporate travel was a welcome challenge, and he had to learn quickly and develop new skills.

He particularly enjoys getting to know his clients, each one unique, befriending the people, not assessing the numbers. Harridge Group excites and motivates him: to continually enhance his clients’ experience, to make a real difference, to offer a uniquely personal and first class service.

Jonathan loves leisure time, family time, golf time and cricket time! On top of that, he tries to complete one 26-mile marathon a year for the NSPCC, the discipline and humility of which he really values.

Zenna Harridge

Business Development Manager

With her vast background in the Arts, Zenna became very interested in travel after working for the world-wide BBC team. She entered the family business aiming to get involved with corporate travel and events.

She has been working in this industry since 2011, and before that for many years as a summer job. She loves travelling, organizing events, and meeting with her clients. She also enjoys a spot of dancing and keeping as fit as possible. She’s a cleaning fanatic, and likes to sit in the sun with a cool beer or a glass of fruity red wine.
